Why should the world revolve around USD, anyway? Created by European fintech company Stasis, EURS is the largest Euro-backed digital asset in the world. The stablecoin has been on the market for 6 years and is pegged 1:1 to the Euro, providing the DeFi industry with the stability of the world’s second most traded fiat currency, while pairing it with the transparency and efficiency of blockchain technology.
EURS is an ERC/EIP20 token that has pioneered delegated payments on the Ethereum network. This means gas fees can be paid in EURS or indeed any other digital asset supported by the Stasis wallet, removing a major point of friction from any DeFi user’s experience.
